Provident Fund is a crucial part of the retirement savings. By defaulting on PF deposits, your employer may put your financial future at risk. The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation keeps urging that employers should ensure timely payment of EPF dues to avoid damages and interest.

Under this scheme, both the employer and the employee contribute towards EPF. The accumulated amount in the EPF account is payable to the employee at the time of retirement or on withdrawal from service.
