Shares of Hindustan Zinc (HZL) on Monday slipped over 5 per cent on the stock exchanges. The stock hit a day low of Rs 322.30 over its previous close of Rs 340.50. At today’s low price, the scrip traded 15.85 per cent lower from its 52-week high of Rs 383, hit on January 19 this year. Although, it has gained 23.72 per cent from its one-year low price of Rs 260.50, a level seen on July 27, 2022. The returns given by Hindustan Zinc shares over the last 12 months stand at nearly 27 per cent, according to Trendlyne data which is higher than the return of 20 per cent given by Nifty50 during this time.
