The shooting happened shortly before 1:30 a.m. in the 2300 block of Watkins Street. Kruger, 39, was shot seven times, according to police. He was taken to an area hospital, where he later died. Police have not made any arrests and no weapons were recovered. Jaz Brown heard the gunshots and screams of her
