Engineering Student Touches Emergency Exit Door on Chennai-Delhi Flight, Booked

According to the police, the accused engineering student was travelling from Chennai to Delhi on Saturday. The police said the accused touched the emergency gate during the flight. Noticing this, the flight crew stopped him and reported to the flight captain, who decided to report the incident to the police. However, the accused said he didn't want to open the emergency door, but had only touched its handle. The police have said that a notice has been served to the accused and legal action is being taken against him. Although he has not been arrested, he will have to appear in court, they said. The plane sustained damages after one of its engines touched the runway during the landing. Noticing the incident, the pilot initiated a go-around and landed the aircraft safely, avoiding a major accident. It is to be noted that the aircraft in the incident is a Boeing 747-400F. The incident with flight CV-7545 occurred on April 15th after the plane completed its flight from Luxembourg to Dubai. Animals, birds, and reptiles are permitted on aeroplanes travelling to, through, and inside India. Pets are currently allowed onboard at least two Indian airlines, Air India and Aksa Air. Pets may fly domestically in the cargo hold with SpiceJet. A senior official at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has not yet issued any Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) or guidelines with regard to carriage of pets in passenger compartment. [ad_1] India's largest airline, IndiGo is on a massive international expansion spree as the air carrier announced direct flights to Kenya, Indonesia and Georgia in a past couple of days. With the recent announcement of direct flights to Tbilisi, Georgia, IndiGo Airline is now connected to 29 international destinations and 107th overall destination.
