While David Warner had not scored a century in Test match cricket since 2020, the left-handed batter chose quite an occasion to get to his hundred when he notched up a ton in his 100th Test. The 36-year-old achieved the feat during Day 2 of the Boxing Day Test match against South Africa at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia. The Aussie opener thus became only the second Australian to score a hundred in his 100th Test after former captain Ricky Ponting who had also achieved the feat against the same opposition back in 2006.
