‘Nothing personal’: Amir on throwing ball at Babar Azam

Karachi Kings pacer, Mohammad Amir, has opened up about his on-field clash with Peshawar Zalmi captain, Babar Azam, on Wednesday. Babar played a match-winning 68-run knock from 46 balls against Kings. During the innings, he flicked Amir for a boundary, which frustrated the left-arm pacer and he threw the next ball towards Babar in desperation. “It was heat of the moment thing and it was nothing personal [against Babar]. Bowlers should show aggression on the field, to get the best out of them,” Amir said in pre-match interview on Thursday. “I was under pressure in the game, which is the beauty of this league.
