NEW DELHI: As digital engagement gets deeper and sophisticated in India, a significant number of companies and organisations in the country increasingly face the threat of cyber attacks, including ransomware attempts, according to US-headquartered data security and cloud data management company Rubrik . The company said that a survey reveals that instances of cyber attacks remain high within India Inc. , which leads to loss of data and business customers. “In India, 26% of respondents reported their organisations experienced over 100 attempted cyber attacks within the last year alone and 51% of companies suffered a loss of customers as a result of a cyber attack,” Bipul Sinha, co-founder & CEO of Rubrik said.
