‘RRR’ star Ram Charan reps Pakistani designer Faraz Manan | The Express Tribune
Indian actor, producer, and entrepreneur Ram Charan of RRR fame was recently photographed by paparazzi as he stepped out during the day wearing a champagne kurta-pajama outfit by the famous Pakistani fashion designer Faraz Manan. The actor, more widely known for his acting roles in Telugu cinema, looked handsome in the champagne-coloured, almost dull-gold-shaded two-piece set.
The short-length kurta appeared to be stitched in an intricately embroidered fabric and had a long line of fabric buttons running down the middle, almost all the way down to the hem of the shirt. The textured appearance of the kurta was matched by a textured pair of trousers. The straight-legged trousers were tailored well as per size and fit and were stitched in a unique fabric that gave off a slight gold sheen. The shine in the pants was accentuated by the parallel-lines pattern woven into the fabric, which gave the cloth the appearance of subtly pleated fabric.
With his sleeves rolled up to rest around his elbows, Ram looked handsome as he smiled for the cameras. He accessorised his festive look with a lightly shaded pair of sunglasses, a bold gold watch, and black suede loafers adorned with large gold tassels.
While the black shoes looked a bit mismatched and looked to pose a very sharp contrast to the muted and neutral gold tones of the ensemble, the Acharya actor still carried the overall look quite well.
The Pakistani designer is loved for his signature neutral-toned, heavily embellished outfits and modern-cut silhouettes. He is renowned for his craft in Pakistan, but, in recent years, his fashion house has also gained fame overseas. International recognition of his work and his propensity to attract foreign clients for designs that go beyond the norms of South-Asian bridal couture and capture elements of Western bridal couture have enabled him to set up a studio in Dubai, UAE, in addition to his flagship store and original Pakistan studio located in Gulberg, Lahore.
The ace Pakistani designer has famously dressed celebrities Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Karishma Kapoor, Mahira Khan, Madhuri Dixit, and Bebe Rexha, to name a few.
