Hollywood, "Everwood" stars react to Treat Williams' death: "I can still feel the warmth of your presence"

9 people wounded in shooting at Florida beach in US - SUCH TV

[ad_1] Nine people were injured when gunfire erupted along a beachside promenade in Hollywood, Florida, sending people frantically running for cover along the crowded beach during the Memorial Day holiday in the United States. According to international media reports, everal of those wounded on Monday evening were taken to a children’s hospital, police spokesperson Deanna Bettineschi said. Bettineschi said four minors – aged between one and 17 – were hit, along with five adults between 25 and 65. One was in surgery late on Monday night while the others were stable, she said. The shooting happened shortly before 7pm (23:00 GMT) when a fight broke out and at least one gun was pulled and shots were fired, Bettineschi said. At least one person was in custody, but police were looking for more suspects. The city controller, Kenneth Mejia, announced the office's investigation  Tuesday on Twitter, sharing before and after photos of the trees — the before showing fuller trees with leaves and the after showing the trees' barren limbs. "Our Office is investigating the tree trimming that occurred outside Universal Studios where workers, writers, and actors are exercising their right to picket," Mejia wrote. "Oppenheimer" 70mm film reels are 600 pounds — and reach IMAX's "outer limit" due to the movie's 3-hour runtime

The movie is set to run in 30 IMAX theaters, and the reel of 70mm film is a whopping 11 miles long, Nolan told The Associated Press . It also weighs 600 pounds. "Oppenheimer" will premiere Friday worldwide and be shown on standard screens as well as in IMAX. But Nolan said he recommends seeing the film at an IMAX theater . Before digital recording became the norm, movies were usually recorded on 35mm film.
